Hard to tell what is intentional with this movie, but when Nathan comes back from trying to start the car, he says that the battery was dead from the interference. The car was clearly audibly turning over the whole time he tried, so it wasn't the battery, which would result in clicks, not turning over. See more »

Richard Stanley's comeback to feature cinema is an equal-parts breathtaking & terrifying experience, highlighted by gorgeous cinematography, overwhelming dread and of course a bizarre Nicolas Cage performance. Some take umbrage with the film's pacing and run-time, I couldn't wait to leave this doomed farm in the best way possible.
7/10 buckets of alpaca milk.
